The year 2013 started off as somewhat of a disappointment to Jessica Lucas. In April of 2010, following a few months of costarring in Cult (which was released on in February 19th in 2013), the show was pulled from schedule. The CW broadcast all 13 episodes later on during the season. It's not a great feeling to appear in an established show that is abruptly cancelled. A positive was that Jessica's career appeared to be growing exponentially. Jessica Lucas starred in That Awkward, released by Sony Pictures at the start of 2014, as American actor Michael B. Jordan's lawyer and wife. Problem is, she's been having an affair and clearly has an upper hand in their relationship. Lucas does well in each scene, despite that it's mostly just a story of friendship. In the Paul W.S. movie, like we've mentioned previously Lucas is also a part of the film's couple of scenes. Anderson period action-adventure film Pompeii. Shenae, AnnaLynne McCord, and Jessica Stroup were her co-stars on the upcoming 90210. In 2009, she was a part in the highly-successful reboot of popular 1990s television show Melrose Place as Riley Richmond the sweet teacher at an elementary school.
